Botticelli's Venus is one of the most famous paintings in the world. It is an image that inspires. I wanted to recreate my own version based on Botticelli's style but brought to the 21st century. I also opted for the deity upon which Venus is based - Aphrodite the original goddess of beauty. Maddy was the first person who popped into my mind who could be a goddess of beauty in her own right. I think if a goddess of beauty was ever reborn into the 21st century then this is how it might look.....and it might just be Maddy. I also opted to provide the uncensored version as I think a goddess of beauty would never be ashamed of her looks or body. If anything she would teach others to respect their own bodies and those of others.
